Ingredients
- 1 cup Bilva Naturals Ragi Flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup jaggery powder or brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ghee or butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews) - optional
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- 2In a large bowl, mix ragi flour, whole wheat flour, cardamom powder, and salt.
- 3In another bowl, cream together the ghee and jaggery powder until well combined.
- 4Gradually add the dry ingredients to the ghee mixture, alternating with milk to form a soft dough.
- 5If using, fold in the chopped nuts.
- 6Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape them into round cookies.
- 7Place the cookies on the prepared baking tray, leaving some space between them.
- 8Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
- 9Allow the cookies to cool completely before serving.
